What we inspect
What do we look for during an inspection?
From the foundation to the top of the roof, a thorough inspection is performed documenting and photographing all visible defects. We know you expect a quality inspection consultation. We try to inspect as if we were purchasing the home for ourselves.
Structural Inspection
A structural inspection is a visual inspection done to confirm the structural soundness of a home or building's weight bearing elements such as framing, foundation, beams, columns, posts, or trusses.
Roofing Inspection
A roof inspection is simply checking the overall condition of your roof. Its ultimate purpose is to determine if your roof is currently performing as expected, and if it isn't, a roofer can make the appropriate recommendations.
Radon Testing
A radon test measures the levels of radon gas — an odorless radioactive gas — due to uranium breaking down within soil and water found present in the home. Radon gas seeps into the home through cracks in the foundation and contaminates the indoor air in your home. Inspectors can test the air inside your home using specialized devices that can detect and measure radon gas concentrations in a building. If radon levels are high, you can perform repairs and interventions to reduce those levels
WDO and MOLD
What is the meaning of Mold inspection?
The inspector will examine areas where there could be mold infection — including fittings, ventilation, and possible sources of air contamination and moisture (interior and exterior). Areas may include crawlspaces and roof areas, depending on the agreed-upon scope of the mold inspection
Plumbing Inspection
A plumbing inspection is a comprehensive look at your plumbing system. In a professional plumbing inspection, the inspector will examine these items and systems: Indoor and outdoor plumbing pipes, including supply lines and sewage lines. Hose bibs, both outdoors and in the laundry room. Sinks and bathtubs.
